Perhaps this isn't the right place to ask

Hey!

Newbie here, so forgive me for my indiscretions, haha. Anyways, I was wondering if the tabata method is viable on a stairmaster. Is it? The gym where I work out doesn't have an HIIT option, and I don't like having to change the levels so frequently, so I thought a tabata approach might be better. Any ideas?

You can do some form of HIIT on virtually any type of cardio equipment.

curious - why are you choosing the Tabata interval protocols or some other type of interval protocol ?

Are you trying to improve your Vo2 max, and as a result, opting for Tabata ?
