Perfect Toned Body

I've been getting frustrated over the fact that no matter how many sit ups I do and cardios, I cant seem to get that toned body that i wanted. I do about 250 sit ups and 50 weighed sit ups with 50 pounds of weight. After that i hit the bench to do 100 butterflies with 50 on each side and 25 with 75 on each side.

I've been doing this routine for about a year now and even done other cardio workouts for another year. So far, nothing much has changed. I'm only pleased with the little change with my abs, but that's taking forever. The most i'm most frustrated with is my chest which has gotten bigger, but not more toned.

Please help and if you can (if not too much trouble), describe a good workout plan for me.

Part of the reason why your chest isnt toning is because your using more weight and not enough reps. Try lowering the weight and doing more reps. Also, if you want bigger abs you should use an ab machine at a gym or school weight room. Try doing a high weight on your abs and see if that helps.

GTR,
Your troubles lie in the fact that you're relying on the wrong exercises to get the right solution. Look into some exercises that affect your whole body. Something that may help is a free report, found at . It might help you get educated on the basics.

Yeah I would have to agree1 The amount of reps you are doing as well seems excessive to say the least. It's hard knowing what to do and then putting it into practice is even harder try for good advice on toning and building. Start with the basics and work you way up I always promote: sqauting/ lunges/ chin ups / bench press/ rows / shoulder press e.t.c stick to good quality compound movements aim for x10 reps x3 sets at the end of each set you shouldn't really be able to another rep. Stick to the basics and the rest will follow.
