Overall help

To start, thanks to all the people on this site. I have been reading a ton of post, trying to learn as much as possible before i post my situation.

I am 5'10" 175lbs. I used bodybuilding.com to come up with my workout plan.

Mon-chest/arms
Tues- cardio/abs (4-5mile run)
Wed-Legs
Thurs- cardio/abs (4-5mile run)
Fri- biceps/triceps
*there are exercises in there that work the back/shoulders on Friday also.

I was looking into starting to take creatine as well as Optimum Nutrition 100% whey protein.

My diet is pretty good 5-6 meals with decent protein intake and low saturated fats.

Im trying to get rid of that little bit of fat i have in the stomach area, as well as get bigger and more defined in the chest/arms. I know the creatine will make me retain water, but i feel the gains i would get from the extra strength during my workouts would be worth it.

Questions
1) Do i need to change my workout?
2) Is my diet correct for what i want?
3) Should i be taking the protein?
4) Any other advice would be greatly appreciated?
Thanks ahead of time for the great information i have already gained from this site!

monday chest biceps
tuesday cardio abs
wednesday back triceps
thursday cardio abs
friday legs shoulders

try that..

get atleast 175 grams of protein a day..also eat some fruits and veggies..and drink lots of water..

well if you cant get enough protein from food in a day then yes go out and get some whey protein..

What kind of time schedule should i be taking the creatine and protein on? This includes workout days as well as off days sat/sun. Thanks again for all the help

I recomend that you follow the instructions that come with whatever creatine that you choose. as far as protein you should be getting atleast your body weight in protein spread out over 6 meals a day so like 30 g a meal should do you pretty good :D as far as your work out goes try it for a couple of months and see where your at. between that time you aquire more and more information so don't sweat it. when I first started working out it was around the time the atkins thing was becoming so popular for some reason I though that I was not supposed to be having any carbs. to make a long story short I gathered information throughout the years and you will too

you should take the whey in the morning and after your workouts..and on off days take some in the morning and at night with some milk..

take 5 grams of creatine after your work outs..on off days take it when ever you want with some grape juice..
