Onward to a better me!

Week one:

I am feeling physically better than I have in a long time. I thought sticking to my diet was going to be difficult, but it really hasn't. My first week of exercise has been pretty minimal but this next week I plan on kicking up the pace and really getting into other types of exercise.

This week's progress
Friday Dec. 13- 210.8 lbs
Current weight- 196.6 lbs
Weight loss this week- 14 lbs

14 lbs in one week is pretty crazy. I know it's a pretty big number and my following weeks may not be as high, but I'm feeling very confident that I can keep up a consistent loss of about 2-5 lbs a week, which is what I'm aiming for.

Hi Wukimonster!

First I will reply to your linked post on here. Congrats on not feeling hungry and not having cravings! That is super awesome! Now regarding your muscles burning, it depends on the kind of burn. Generally you want to work through it. With that said if you have been sedentary and start a heavy workout routine you want to be careful and listen to your body and allow yourself enough rest in between otherwise you will injure yourself which is the last thing anyone wants or needs when trying to lose weight.

WOW! 14lbs in a week? I wish I could hit that! But definitely not normal or healthy if it became a regular routine. With that said, and I'm by no means an expert, I think when you have 80lbs to lose like you want to, the weight does come off quickly initially. Recommended loss is 1-2lbs for a healthy, steady loss that is easily maintained afterwards. But for now, enjoy it :) Keep working the way you are and you'll keep losing steadily!

GOOD JOB!
