On the verge of quitting

I just cannot find a workout to suit me at all, I have tried loads of stuff but nothing has worked in over a year, my food side isn't the problem it's just the gym side.

All I have is multi gym, bench, free weights.

Anyone able to help me out?

what isn't working? not gaining size? not gaining strength?

without a daily meal plan (with all the macros) and an idea of what you're doing for exercises, volume, and frequency, I can't even start to critique or make suggestions.

I will say it can be hard for a growing 16 year old male to make mass gains since typically their bodies are tearing through nutrients due to growth spurts and hormonal changes.
 
Agreed.

You are pretty young here. Eat good and plenty. Play a sport or intramural activity. Have fun buddy....your just a calorie burning machine right now. Don't get too frustrated. Keep working at it you'll get it.
 
Direction, and joy. Do you have a goal? Find a means to an end. Do you enjoy working out? Find a way of exercising that YOU enjoy.
 
I enjoy working out just I don't seem to get anything back from it.

Someone suggested I do this 3 days a week

Chest
Bench Press: 3 sets, 6 repetitions
Pectoral Deck: 3 sets, 8 repetitions

Bicep
Dumbbell Curls: 3 sets, 8 repetitions

Back
Lateral Pull Down: 3 sets, 6 repetitions
Dumbbell Good Mornings: 3 sets, 10 repetitions

Shoulders
Arnold Press: 3 sets, 8 repetitions

Legs
Leg Extensions: 3 sets, 8 repetitions
Squats: 3 sets, 10 repetitions

Triceps
Triceps Pull Down: 3 sets, 8 repetitions

Abs
Waist Twists: 3 sets, 90 repetitions
Sit up Twist: 3 sets, 20 repetitions
Stomach Vacuums: 3 sets, 10 repetitions (Hold for 5 seconds)


I'm totally not sure about it though.
