Olympic/Power Lifters

hey i was just reading up on guys like allen down and rickey crain. these guys weighed under 200 pounds yet they had huge lifts. (bench, squat, dead) and they were ripped to the max. i was just wondering if anyone can tell me how you can build strength without building tons of mass. cause these guys are ridiculously strong but werent huge like magnus and those guys on all strength shows. and if anyone knows of good powerlifting or olympiclifting routines.thanks.
 
kca got most of the powerlifting stuff covered. Crane has his gym here in Oklahoma. You might also google Coan deadlift routine and Coan bench routine because he has a built template already.

As far as oly routines, go to and they have some already made routines ready to go.

Both groups train completely different. For example, both groups squat but they squat completely different (typically) and your Oly lifters will concentrate more on front squat than back squat whereas powerlifters do very little front squating. It'd be a lot to cover just trying to explain how these guys train but keep in mind they work high intensity on the main lifts and pick the accessory and supplemental lifts that will help their competition lifts.
