Hey everyone! My name on here use to be WeightLossChick, but I decided to change my name because I want an absolute fresh start on this forum and changing my name would be a great way to do it. For those of you who don't know me my name is Michelle and I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. I am tired of going through this cycle where I do good on this board posting about my nutrition and exercise and doing great for a couple of weeks or so but then completely falling apart giving into eating junk food and sweets and going on complete binge mode for a coupld days completely undoing all my progress. It has to stop and it has to stop NOW. I do not like the way I look right now and the only way I'm going to change that is to be held accountable for all my actions. So I'm starting right now, posting all my nutrition and exercise and also writing down my thoughts and feelings towards life in general so I'm most likely to see WHY I eat the way I do and figuring out ways to change that. And the reason why I chose GrobanLover90 as my username is because my favorite musician is Josh Groban. He's the absolute best singer out there right now and ya'll should check him out if you get a chance!

Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee with splenda and a little bit of 1% milk, 1 cup of Banana nut crunch cereal with 1% milk
Lunch: turkey sandhwich on honey wheat berry bread with onions, tomatos, mustard, lettuce, 1 diet cherry pepsi soda, and 1 peach
(ok this is where I blew it) some lasagna with a side salad with Olive Garden italian dressing, onions, croutons, tomatos and mexican cheese, green beans and some strawberrys, then I had another helping of lasagna because I was still hungry, 1 small breadsticks, and 1 hersheys milk chocolate bar :(
No formal exercise today
Ok so this is the last night I screw up, tomorrow will be a fresh start and I mean it :)

Way to go. It is never too late to start all over again. I wish you the best of luck going forward. How is today going for you. Are you staying with the program?

That's not altogether that bad -how many calories a day are you planning on for yourself - I would encourage you to reead the stickied threads to give you some idea of where you should probably be.

Slip ups happen from time to time, while last time wasn' bad, it won't be the last time -don't use tomorrow a s the recovery time - fix it the next meal - get right back on the horse...

Thanks alot for the support Maleficent and Plumpdad, as far as today goes I have indeed stuck with the program and feeling really good about it. Mal as far as how many calories a day I plan for myself, I honestly don't know how much I should be consuming, I'm 5'2 and 17 years old, so I assume I should be consuming about 1300 to 1600 a day?? I really have no idea...As far as what I've eaten today...
Breakfast:1 cup of banana nut crunch cereal with 1% milk and 1 cup of coffee with splenda and a little bit of 1% milk
Lunch: chicken sandwhich (white meat) on honey wheat berry bread, with tomatos, onions, and mustard, 5 big strawberryes, 1 diet cherry pepsi (I'm having a hard time getting weaned off the diet soda but I don't believe alot of the things people say about diet soda (I mean how in the world can people gain more weight while drinking diet soda than regular soda when regular soda has all the calories and sugar in it?? It just doesn't make any sense...)
Snack: 1 100 calorie pack of chips ahoy cookies (YUMMY) definitly satisfys the sweet tooth
Dinner: 1 chicken fajita pita from Jack In The Box, a small handful of curly fries and 2 onion rings (definitly not the healthiest dinner but I don't think I went overboard on the calories, but then again I'm almost afraid to look at the calorie content on the internet lol)
Exercise: Not formal exercise again today, I thought dad and I were going to the gym but he ended up shooting golf balls with a friend instead (GRRRR lol) so I;m really hoping we go tomorrow. And thats my day for today...And I plan on doing even better tomorrow :)

Hey everyone!! Today has been a good day as far as food goes, I wasn't able to get to the gym AGAIN today because at 9:00 my mom woke me up and told me that she wanted to take me to do my school shopping today and we were gone from 11:30 to 4:30. I was disappointed to find out that I am now a size 12 in jeans when I was a size 7 at my thinnest (I was so happy to get out of the double digits) but luckily they still looked good on me and I had to take whatever I could get. Before we did out shopping we stopped at the Olive Garden for lunch, I had a bowl of salad, a breadstick, and shrimp primavera (my favorite dish). For breakfast I had a bowl of Eating Right cereal (forget the name) with 1% milk, and 1 cup of coffee with splenda and a little bit of 1% milk. For dinner I had a small quanity of steak, a few baked fried with a little ketchup, some baked beans, and corn on the cob. For desert my dad made a delicious peach tort and I had a really small quanity of that.. (it's soooooo good but of course not very good for you which is why I didn't take much. I've come to the realization that I simply cannot deprive myself of sweets (especially the ones that my dad makes) so instead of completely forgoing the sweets I'm just going to take a very small quanity whenever my dad does make something so I don't go completely bonkers over the sweets and binge on them later on. Tomorrow I don't think I can make it to the gym either because my dad is going golfing at 10:00 in the morning and he is my only transportation to the gym (I cannot wait to get my drviers license!!) But no matter what I am going to go Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I'm going to join cross country at my high school this year and I havn't done a very good job of getting myself in shape for it, so I really gotta get my butt into gear!! The cross country coach told me that if you can run for 20 minutes at a time without stopping then your ready for cross country...I'm pretty sure I can do that but I'm not a very fast runner...Again I gotta get my my butt into gear lol.
