I have been reading new posts everyday for about 6 months. I am currently weighing in at 193 pounds and at 5'3", this is not good. I have been overweight my entire life, 25 years to be exact. In May 2006 I decided enough was enough. I was just at 200 pounds and started counting calories 1500 a day and walking a lot, and by May of 2007....I was siting very pretty at 145 pounds. Then I bought a house and as of right now May of 2009 I am 7 pounds away from my 200 mark 3 years ago :( Why did I gain all of the weight back, lack of exercise and negative change in diet. So here I go, feeling confident and excited to reach a goal of a nice 140 pounds. There is not a doubt in my mind that I cannot do this. With my attitude and the strength from all of you, I will do this!

WALK AT LEAST 1 EXTRA MILE EVERYDAY AND FOLLOW A 1500 CALORIE DIET IS THE PLAN.
 
Well, you've done it before, you can do it again! This is a great place for inspiration and motivation! Please keep us updated with your progress!

If it means anything- you carry 200 pounds very well. I think with hard work and a eating habit change, you'll be back to your happy weight in no time =)

I swear, looking at your pics is like looking at my own. I lost mine and you can lose yours too. Good luck and keep checking in so we know how you're doing!!
 
What happened? Where did you go? It's nearly a year now? Slim and trim?
 
I'm 5'3" and at my heaviest four months ago I tipped 181. I am aiming at 130/128 too! So we have very similar goals. I would love if you kept me updating on your progress - you can do it! :) Three months later from my 180 piont, I'm now 159.... YOU CAN DO IT TOO!
