Nothing To Loose - That is the goal

Jelly, thanks for the suggestions!

The problem is that in August I have not done much exercise outside of riding my horse 3 times per week. While riding is good exercise, it just was not enough. So I need to introduce other kind of exercise that I can do other day of the week. Also, I have not gone back to using bowflex since my vacation beginning of August, which was really bad. But I'm back to it now, since yesterday. Yes, yesterday I finally started back on my strength training. Yeah! It was not a long or very streneous workout, as I decided to play it safe, but my muscles were sore during it, so I feel that it was good.

Tonight I am riding and tomorrow I will hopefully do another workout.
I really need to switch to mornings for those.

Good Morning everyone!

Still at 131... Sigh... But planning on exercising today! Definitely aerobic and maybe some weights! I have to leave that stupid weight! I've been already 2 month on that number, if not more, its time to move on! Its time to challenge my body and add more exercise!

Yesterday I had a good ride. But I am no longer tired after the ride, at least not as much as I used to be. I think I don't burn as much calories doing the same amount of work, so I need to step it up with other exercise.

Hey Nl~

Smile!!!!!! 131 is good. Shoot I wish I was that..:( Oh, Memmories:rolleyes:

Well, It's good that you started you blowflex agian. By bad, I thought you were doing all that stuff and hit a plateu(sorry for spelling) ... But, keep up the Great work and you'll start loosing. Give it one more week. An d tons of WATER;) Have a GREAT Day!!!!!

Thank you for checking on me, Jelly!

Yes, I've gone far from where I started, but since I've been "plateuing" for 2 months , I'm tired of it. I only need to loose 6lbs to my goal weight of 125.

I've been bad with additional exercise in August, but no more! I am kicking in with exercise this week and next week!

Hi NTL!! Long time no see huh??

Glad your still hanging in there!!! I kinda gave up for a while, in march, and I put on 15 pounds! UGH! Be glad your not in my shoes!

I know plateu'ing can be a frusterating experiance, but keep it up!! Change your routine a little. I see you said you havn't done well w/ excersize in august....throw yourself in it...i bet that will break your plateu for sure!

Thanks Newbride! It is nice to see you back again, although sorry about extra 15... But I am sure you can loose them again, like you did before!
You're absolutely right about exercise, and I'm back on the exercise wagon since this week. So I guess we'll see what's coming.

Yesterday I did some jumprope and bowflex. Jumprope is a killer for the lungs and heart. I was huffing and puffing like crazy, but I also know that it burns a lot of calories, so I hope that helped. It made me feel really good to be back to the exercise. Tonight I'm going to do some light cycling while watching TV.

Weekend should be riding and some house cleaning and running errands. Weekends are usually pretty active for me, so I should be ok.

Only one week left to a big horse show next saturday, and I'd love to get some more stamina for it.

Been kinda tired all day. I think I'm super bloated. feeling really fat and ugly. Stomack is sticking out today two miles ahead of me. My husband said I look like pregnant lady(and it was not a compliment). Its really annoying.
Well, I'm off to exercise, maybe I'll burn a bit of calories.

come homeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hi, All,

Well, I have not been on this forum for a while. In the fall, I gained 4 lbs, lost 3 of them and now I'm back to 132. Holidays and vacations have not been kind to me, although for majority of the time I managed to maintain my weight.

I am back to active weight loss because I have a new Long Term goal. My new goal is to be 20% fat. Now I am 31% fat, at 132 lbs. I don't really care what I'll weigh as long as it is 20% fat.

I've come up with an exercise program for myself to strength train and gain muscle as long as tracking calories and eating between 1200 and 1400 per day. My first week went great and I could feel results, however, the 2nd week I felt a cold coming on and could not follow my schedule or my weights. And this weekend I've been really sick so exercise is out of the question.

Despite the rocky start I have faith that this program will help me to achieve my goal and I will get results from it. I am shifting my focus on strength, agility and fitness level rather then weight number, although I'm sure the weight will come off as well.
