Not feeling the Burn

Okay when I do my reps when Iam bench pressing I feel like it gets tough to do the reps from being tired but I dont feel the burn from the reps I dont feel like its working. Iam doing them correctly from using examples giving on this forum but I dunno. Also can someone point me to a good diet for losing weight iam 5'11 about 190 pds with a bit of excess weight all over!

i had the same feling a while back. Cause - not enough energy.
My muscle wasnt being worked to its capacity, because my diet wasnt providing me with adequate nutrition to fuel the massive amounts of energy required for weight lifting.

check you diet and make sure to get an even blend of complex carbs, proteins and fats, and also to eat at least 3 times per day (preferably 5 or 6), breakfast being the most important meal.

Excellent Iam at loss for a good whole diet for instance this morning I fried up a cpl eggs in buter and ate them with some water. What would you suggest as good eating throughout the day?????

booboofetish - if you can, eat more than that. try 3 scrambled eggs on 2 brown toasts, or 2 bowls of cereal with whole milk and a banana - that ill really set you up!!

BuffinUp - sorry Im not too sure about that. I ould guess they are simple as they quickly turn into fructose, then into simple sugar, but fruit is still good for you! But like I said, Im not sure - best look it up somewhere.

You don't have to feel the "burn" to work the muscle correctly. This burn is lactic acid buildup, and is not required to gain strength and muscle. Yes, fatigue sets in. There will always be a point where you will not be able to complete another rep, this is failure.

I read that whole milk has exactly the same amount of nutritional value as semi skimmed, just more fat....

I thought this was interesting and it is sort of in subject. Apples are more efficient to wake you up in the morning than coffee. I don't really like coffee drinking, but if you ever go to a marathon most runners are drinking it because it provides a adrenaline boost. It's similar to a steroid, and drinking too much coffee during competitions can get you booted.
