noises in my joints

Hey guys, I have question.

When I'm lifting weights I sometimes hear/feel a popping sound in my arms or back or whereever.

I'm guessing this is probably normal since I feel my muscles are pretty underdeveloped from lack of ever developing them and being 23 now.

If you guys know what I'm talking about and what it means I'd like to know.
 
Describe your noises a little more.

Usually my joints pop when I've started my workout on my first set after warm up (usually after being inactive for a few days too).
