newbie question

hiya,
im new to all of this but have been lifting for a few months. in a couple of weeks i'll b going on holiday for three weeks where they dont have a gym, not even any dumbells, i was just wondering what effect if any it would have on my body, i realise after the three weeks i may lose some strength but what about the definition i have already?

i realise that i would be able to do push up's and sit up's while im away but would that be enough?
this may sound like a stupid question but any help would be apprechiated.

I would imagine that it will affect different people to different extents. I don't think you will lose much definition as long as you keep up with push-ups etc, and you could even do them with your feet high up against a wall to make them harder. As for sit-ups, crunches are widely known as being much better for the abs, so try doing those whilst holding a weight of some sort behind your head.

You could also make sure to get plenty of milk protien before bed from things such as cottage cheese and milk, in order to reduce muscle catabolism (size decreases) overnight.

3 weeks wont kill you. But yeh, push ups, crunches, chin ups (find a doorway), chair dips etc etc. Just improvise.
