Hi all,
I thought that the best way for me to lose weight that I have wanted to lose for a while is to go somewhere that I can be totally open and honest about my eating and exercise. Well here I am. I started gaining weight in my early 20's when I worked shift work as found it hard to know when to eat and ended up eating to excess. I have lost and put it on again since then. Max being 238 lbs ish.
Anyway now I am 221 lbs after gaining 24 lbs since the beginning of this year.
My aim to begin with is to get to 175 lbs. I'll reevaluate then if I want to lose more but know that I have been very happy about my size/shape at that weight previously. I'm 5' 8.5 ". Medium frame. Female. Mid 30's.
I am very aware of food and all the food groups, what's good for you what's not etc. I need to educate myself further with regards to fitness and weights. I used to do a lot of sports when younger. I still swim a lot. I think I'm beginning the journey, wish me luck!!
