Ok so I finally bit the bullet and joined a local gym about a month ago.
Since joining I've noticed significant loss of fat and decent gains in muscle. I thought it was in my head but I've taken pics before and after, and even my friends have said something to me about my body.
I've heard of the "newbie" gains theory and I was wondering how long the newbie gain period usually lasts? I'm trying to utilize this time to get as much out of it as possible. Or if someone can clear the myth on newbie gains I'd appreciate that too.
