I am there with you hun...I gained 7 pounds which confused me because i have been doing well, but i did some research on my meds and found out that they cause weight gain. So we are in this together hun. We will lose weight. I have a long way to go as well, and like you focusing on the big picture seems overwhelming at times...so I set a little challenge for myself to lose 25lbs by 07/04/08. You can join me if you'd like
Even of we do not lose 25lbs its still cool...its like the saying, if you shoot for the moon and miss, at least you will be among the stars.

Pink, I wouldnt count it! Seriously I doubt you gained fat back, since you are taking all the measures you can, I'm sure it's just TOM. I hold about 5lbs of water weight during TOM. Watch your salt so you don't retain any more water at least what you can control, and drink a lot of water during the day, and don't worry so much. I don't think weight packs on that fast with meds, I think it takes a long time, and anyway it's not the medican that makes you gain. It's that it increases your apitite, which inturn makes you gain. If you are watching what you eat, etc.. Then I'm sure that gain is not a real gain, and I wouldn't weigh yourself again untill the bloat is gone... But that's just me...

I was doing good but yesterday i had a little lasagna for dinner and fast food for lunch today ... oyyy
but I am determined to stop this. I got in 30 mins on the treadmill this morning and am hoping to do 1 hr tomorrow...I woke up too late so I was rushing for work today. I think you are right and maybe it is just the bloating...I am puffy everywhere and boy do i feel it!!

Thanks hun for your kind words and you are so right. My actual goal for July is five pounds. I know that sounds insane, but at my rate, if I can pull off five pounds, that will be a big triumph for me, because I have so been bad on the lifestyle changes, I have reverted back to the old me, the food addict who always needed her fix to fill time or to self medicate and the motivation level has been blah, but my goal is still close to what I wanted to be by October, which is funny! I want to be 263.2 by October seventh, I put that down in January or February on the Birthday Challenge. ITs kind of funny! So if I lose two pounds per month I will lose ten pounds by the time I get to October and I will be at the goal weight I set up for myself in the challenge. So I am trying to be reasonable with myself, I would love to lose four pounds in one month, thats the most I have ever lost in one month. Lost one pounds per week. I would absolutely love to do that, but in the month of April I only lost 2.8 pounds, I guess at least its a loss, I have to keep it off and lose at least another two pounds in May...
so here is to another month full of Happy times!!

and has like zero nutritional value...well besides carbs and fat congrats to all the losses in here!!!
I feel like ive hit my first plateau. the one after all the water weight stuff is gone when you first start... And ive been too busy to incorporate walking to class and such... ugh. and its been nice out too... sigh. 3 weeks and im home free... literally. graduating and going home... whew.
anywho. that being said... I GOT MY HULA HOOP!!!
but its alot more difficult than i anticipated. I can barely get it to go around 4 times... lol. but its work and builds up a sweat... and when you drop it you gotta pick it up... that over and over again is a workout in itself
Keep up the good work! its great to come here and see the support that everyone is giving eachother. Its a positive 'atmosphere' so to speak...
