HI!

I'm Katie, and I am 21 years old in the U.S. Army. Currently deployed over sea's in Kuwait. I've been here for a year and only have 3 more months before I get back home! :lurk5:

Now I've come to a point where I wasn't happy with my weight. I was weighing 127.5 pounds. AH! So, I wanted to lose weight before I got home to see my family. So far I have lost 7 pounds! I'm really hoping to lose 10-15 more pounds.

So that being said I'm happy this Diary is here, so that I can be accountably for the things I eat and the exercise I do. It will help me to achieve my goal!

So I'll begin.

SW: 127.5
CW: 120

Intake:
Breakfast: 2 slices of french toast and some bacon with orange juice.
Lunch: ham and cheese sandwhich with a strawberry kiwi snapple
Dinner: Chicken sandwhich, fries, and a cookie.

LOL! Yesterday was the worste day I have had since I started losing weight. I normally don't eat that much and if I do, it's healthier like salads, soups and fruit.

Exercise:
Morning: Ran 1 mile, Rock climbed for 2o minutes.
Night: Did 10.25 miles on the elipticle for 70 minutes at speed 9, burned 610 calories.

SO, tofay is a new day. I have to get in gear to start eating healthy again!
Wish my luck! :drool5:

Hi Katie!

First off thank you for serving our country. It takes a strong person to do so! I have no doubt you'll get down to the size you would like. : )

I'm actually trying to get a flight out tomorrow to Amsterdam then back and forth to Kuwait twice. Bringing some troops back on the trip and I would love to be there for that. Very special! So maybe in three months I could be on a plane bringing you home. ; )

Anywho I'm now going to be following your diary and giving you my support.

Good luck!
B

Oh wow Katie!! What a work out!! I can see exercise is not going to be an issue. I think its just a case of watching your intake and staying hydrated!!But keep up the hard work and I am sure you will reach your desired weight in no time!!
