New to Working Out

About me
Senior in high school
17
6'0-6'1
140ish

I have never worked out before but with college starting in half a year, i want to have a little muscle on me for the ladies.
I don't have a gut or much fat on me. my wrist are super small. I just want to look fit.

So what should I do? What is a good routine? I would like to work out 4 days a week. 5 at the most. I'm a member at the Y so i have every work out machine you can think of. I went and ran today and the stair master just to check things out.

I dont mind having to take Creatine or NO X(or whatever it is called)

So can someone tell me how to start and what to buy pill wise and about how much it is going to be.

Also, a good site with a routine would be good with how to do each thing.

Since you're so new, the best investment you can make would be to pick up "New Rules of Lifting." It'll tell you all you need to know and it has enough workouts to last a year one time through, but with proper rotation, could last you all your life.

I'm no expert but my opinion is forget about pills and focus on good clean food. Hit the free weights more than the machines. Big compound exercises are a good place to start.
