Hello,
My name is Ryan. I am currently in my second year of university and so far, things have been looking down... academically anyway. So I've no idea how much I weight... exactly. I do know that it is well over 290 lbs possible around 320lbs. I have always told myself "I'm going to start eating healthy!" and for about a week I drink nothing but water, but I always revert back to drinking more soda than anyone should drink...ever. I've been doing a lot of soul searching, and I now I keep telling myself "I'm going to be twenty in six months, I'm fail school, I've never been in a relationship and I've little self confidence".
Well that's going to change. After my exams, I am dropping out of university. I'll be off for five months, and then in April I will be starting a new program in a new school. Graphic Design. Something people in my family have told me to do since day one. While I am off these next few months I plan to eat well and exercise as much as possible. I spend all my free time sitting around, when I could be moving doing something. When I start school I want to be as healthy as I possibly can be, I want to have gained the confidence I have lost because of how I conscious I am of how I look.
And this is where signing up to the forum comes in. I wanted a place to find people like me doing the same thing. I want to be able to communicate on progress and strategies. I also need to learn. I do not know anything about calories, or counting or protein % and fat %.
