I think it would be helpful to beginners to have a sticky in the new members section or in the body building section that explained in detail how to do different lifts and what muscles they work.
I've seen quite a few questions asking how to make a certian muscle group bigger or smaller and a lot of the time the response is the kind of lifts to do and to google them or look them up on you tube. The problem with that is there is a lot of wrong info out there and on you tube I have found more people w/ incorrect form than correct. Also some of the lifts are hard to google like good mornings. I typed that into both google and you tube and I had to search a lot to come up with something pertaining to lifting.
A sticky might also draw new people to lifting. There are some lifts I would like to learn how to do, but I feel intimidated and stupid asking how to do them properly on here. After getting to know you guys I'll post them now, but as a beginner I would never have asked the proper way to do a deadlift, so I just didn't do them.
If there already is something like this on the site let me know.
