New! Looking for people to share ideas, tips, etc.

Hi everyone, I am Kelli. I am looking for some people to help give me tips on food, working out, diets etc. I am currently on the self.com self challenge 2007. You eat healthier and slowly work your way up to working out alot more. I would love to be a runner, but i am horrible at running right now, so maybe one day I can. I am currently 192 lbs and would like to lose 57 and be at around 135lbs by june 10. So hopefully I can, I dunno though. Just getting use to this website and all. Thanks!!
 
Hi Kelli and welcome to WLF. Can I make one itty bitty suggestion? 12 weeks is not alot of time to lose 57 lbs. that would mean you need to lose 4.75 lbs a week and although that may be possible it's not a healthy thing to do. I would suggest to go for losing 2-3 lbs a week. Is there a specific reason you want to lose so much by June 10th? its a pretty specific date.
 
Hi, I know it's alot ,and I would be fine just losing as much as I can before that date. It will be my Anniversary and we are attending a wedding, so I am pushing to lose as much weight as possible. If its not the 57 lbs that would be fine, anything is better then now haha. So how did you lose your weight? Congrats I must add.... Thanks!
