Hey,
I'm new to this forum. I'll be 22 in a couple of months and graduating college in May. I've struggled with my weight for years, and I've "tried" to do something about it several times, but I've never stuck to it very long. I'm bad about not workng out when there's no one there to make me. So I'm trying this and hopefully it'll help keep me motivated. Currently I weigh 209 and I'm going to try really hard to lose 35 pounds by my graduation, and to get down to 140 by this time next year when I'm maid of honor in my best friend's wedding. Any help would be appreciated! A couple of topics I'm extremely interested in discussing is weight loss/hypothyroidism and nutrition/non-dairy diet, since I have hypothyroidism and am allergic to milk! :)

Hey girl im new here too!! I have been struggling too, but i keep starting over and every time I do i loose a little more. My goal is 165, I started out at 212, well I really started out at 238, but got stuck at 210 for a couple of years, now i have been stuck in the 190 for the past 5 months, only cuz im not working it!! Hang in there!!

Ouch! Hypothyroid can be rough. You know about avoiding Soy products, right? They can really aggravate any thyroid conditions you might have, and since you don't drink milk, you might be substituting...
Anyhoo, I hope to see you around here a bit more! Do you have a diary yet?
