Hey all
Im new to the board and am asking for some advice. I am 35 and have three children. The youngest is almost two. I have always been small and no problem with weight loss except for the first yr after giving birth to my little ones. Well, not sure what is going on but after my third baby Im stuggling with getting fit and its been almost two yrs. i do cardio about 4 x a week for 30-40 min and do moderate weights about 3X a week.I have tried to clean up my diet a bit and what has happened is I have actully gained weight??? I know its not muscle cause my clothes are tight. I do have hypothyroid but am on meds.Typical day may look like this:
A.m.~ soft boiled egg on 1 slice whole grain bread, coffee
snack~ 2% cottage cheese and maybe 6 almonds(sometimes I forget to eat snack)
lunch~ Turkey sandwich made with whole grain bread and mustard or salad w/ turkey and 1 hard boiled egg and low fat dressing OR lean cuisine meal 300 cal range.
snack~ sometimes a small baked potatoe with tsp parm cheese. Sometimes fruit w/some nuts. Sometimes no snack.
dinner~ varies greatly but try to keep to smalll portion . Usually grilled chicken,lean beef or pork with side of vegie and sometimes pasta or rice.
Oh~ Im 5'3 and typically weigh around 110 but am up to around 118 right now. Any suggestions as to what Im doing wrong. Im depressed
