Hello I am Jennifer,
I need advice. I want to lose as much weight as possible in a healthy manner by the end of June. I have a big swimming party June 30. And would like to feel a little better about my body before then.

That gives me 4 weeks. I want to lose like 10, maybe even 15 pounds. I was thinkin' about going on the Weight Watchers diet, but other than the points - I don't know what foods to eat such as how many carbs, fats, ECT.

And working out, what's a fast way to slim your stomach, love handles, and tops of the arms.

I would also like to work on my chest and thighs and butt. But the others will actually be showing at the party.

Advice? What to eat? What kind of work out?

I'm willing to work hard, as long as I know what I'm doing to get to my goal.

From what these wonderful people have told me on this board- loosing more than 2lbs a week isn't very healthy! I would suggest you find a healthy eating and exercise plan that you can make a daily routine! Like most people will tell you its a lifestyle change. :]

This board has lots of great advice and supportive people! Keep us updated on your progress and Good Luck!

Hey Jennifer! 10-15 pounds is a realistic goal for your first month. I lost 18 pounds last month eating lean cusine for my lunch and dinner and for exercise i used a workout called walk away the pounds. Its a two mile in home walk for your whole body in 30 minutes. I did this 5 days a week. Good luck and remember that anything is possible that you put you mind too!!

A quick way to jump start weight loss is to go two weeks eating only lean protein and veggies, with one healthy fat per day and up to two eggs for breakfast. No starch, fruit or sugar. My dietician says it isn't good for long periods, but for a "boost" when you need to take off a bit quickly, it is perfectly fine. I lost almost 4 pounds the first week I did it.

Diet, Day one.

In Take:

1 16.9 oz bottle of Propel water. (1 point)

6 biscuits. (6 points)

1 cup sausage and gravy. (12 points) [x]

Product guranteed to help you lose Five Pounds

Hi Jennifer,

I am new to this forum also. Five months ago, I found a product that guaranteed that I would lose at least five pounds in five days. I didn't believe it but after I visited my doctor and found out what I weighed, I tried it. I went to the doctor on Friday and the following Monday I decided to try this new miracle product. I followed the directions of this product to the letter and when Friday came, I weighed myself and to my surprise I had lost fifteen (15), yes 15 pounds. I was shocked. I thought most of that was fluid, so I really didn't get too excited, but when I went back to my doctor the following Tuesday and the nurse weighed me, I had indeed lost ten pounds!

If you are interested in this product, you can send me an email to masoncutey@yahoo.com and I will give you all the details.

Mary

Masoncutey,

Losing 15 pounds in a week is a serious threat to health. There is no miracle solution to weight loss but portion and calorie control coupled with exercise.

I strongly advise never to use any weight loss product unless recommended directly by your doctor.

Weight Loss

Mathmajor,

Thanks for your concern regarding my fifteen pound weight loss. However, I did check with my doctor before I tried the product I used and because it was a product promoting health, it was fine. Also, after I lost the weight, I consulted my doctor again and with his blessings. Let me say this, this product is not meant to be used often because of the weight loss results. It is just what it says - it is a jump start to motivate you to weight loss.

Mary

Geez, all these sales pitches in this thread. A product or plan that you have to pay for is certainly not required. I hope nobody buys into these things.

Hi Jennifer,
I'm having great success with Pilates on the Ball. It's an older book that you can get at the library. I just copied the relevent workout after reading the book for reference. It's awesome. Building those core muscles does wonders for you, plus the ball is kind of fun.

Let me know if yu like it--Cheryl
