Hello all! I have been lurking on this site for a couple of weeks now and decided to join in. I have been fat and obese all of my life. I am an 36 year old father of an 13 and 5 year old. I am 5'11 and I weighed 348 pounds. I lost 60 lbs getting down to 288 and then I fell off the wagon. I got back on the scale on Jan 19th 2009 and I weighed 317. I started back on my low carb and walking diet that day and I am now at 293lbs. Thanks for all of you who have shared your pictures and tips-it really is inspiring motivation. Maybe I will get the courage to post some pics of myself in the near future.
, i hate drinking water, i just added some crystal light flavorings to help with forcing myself to drink more. I also usually will have 1-2 diet pepsi's aday, I used to drink 4-5 regular soda's a day.
