New Beginnings for Future Vet

Vet school can be so frustrating. As I get closer to my final year of clinical rotations, it becomes increasingly clear that being physically fit will help me immensely throughout the rest of my career. I've decided to finally lose the excess weight. It has been about 3 days since I started this journey and things are going well. One of my goals is to go walking for at least 20 minutes every day, and increase my workouts as time goes on. Anyway, just wanted to say that I'm doing well so far!

Well I took a step backwards last Friday when there were free drinks and food at a local bar, lol. But since then I have began an exercise regimen with a friend of mine. We are basically doing some interval training. We walk, then run, then walk again, then sprint. We've been doing it for 3 days so far and our legs are hurting! So tomorrow we are planning to hit the gym and lift weights to give our lower body a break. Anyway, I'm still working on controlling my food intake and eating the right things. I was very successful with weight watchers a few years ago so I am going to give it a try again. I just get so tired of counting points. Anyways thanks for checking on me!
