Needs Approval!

Hey I was wondering if all you guys are able to check the routine I do and to comment on it, if it is sufficient enough to satisfy losing weight. I don't care about building, I do it, because it is able to help with weight loss, thus getting toned will be the bonus. A bit of background on me, I am an Australian and of an Asian decent, male, I am 165cm (about 5.4ft I think) tall, I currently weigh 72 - 74kgs (163.1lbs I think), give or take, I still have a stomach(if ya get what I mean :p), I am 18 in exactly 2 weeks and I have completed my final year, being satisfied with all effort I have put in. Onto my routine!
Statements with "*" next to them, means that I do them everyday
Monday
  • 30 min jog, about 5kms*
  • Gym, I work my chest on this day (2hours total, including shower and cardio)*
  • After weights, I do a 20 min cardio, full incline with the speed of power walking, this is done for 15mins, and the last 10 mins are no incline, same speed but gradually slows down. This is done, so I stop sweating and can jump in the shower straight after.*
  • I then walk home, taking my time, which takes 40 - 45mins from the gym to my house (This really depends on my mum, if she can be bothered or not, or if she's out)
Tuesday
Same procedure, but I work out my triceps in the gym.

Wednesday
Same procedure, but I work out my back in the gym.

Thursday
Same procedure, but I work out my biceps in the gym.

Friday
Same procedure, but I work out my shoulders in the gym.

Saturday
Same procedure, but I work out my legs in the gym.

Sunday
REST

My meals for everyday...well most of the days
Breakfast - Toast with butter and orange juice or milk, or cereal
Lunch - I try finding/buying a can of tuna or if my friend wants to buy chicken and chips...I DO IT LOL (i got my friend to come and workout with me)
Dinner - Ye old Asian food; rice, meat, vegies. I try eating one bowl of rice, but satisfy my hunger by filling it up with lots of vegies and meat.

I also do not take any supplements, i.e protein shakes, as I feel that my muscles have more than enough time to heal, but I am considering in taking a "slim shake" to quicken my weight loss, and to lose the stomach. Also, let me know if you wanna know more, or if I am missing something, because I typed one before this one, but my mozzila shut itself down and had to use me brain to whip up another thread

Hope I didn't bore you guys, but please tell me what ya think! ARE THE THUMBS GONNA BE UP OR DOWN?

you spend 3 hours a day exercising??? You're going to be dead and give up in no time unless you get a proper program, also you're going to lose a ****load of muscle on this routine. Also I don't see why you are trying to lose weight so quickly and not take protein shake but perhaps take ''slim shake''. What is your diet like?

Do you think you could post a picture of yourself topless up on here? I have a feeling you think you got more weight to lose than you think and you might be overestimating your muscle mass.

oh and wtf, is that all you eat throughout the day??? it looks like you're eating 1000kcal/day which is just ?!?!?!

fullbody workout will burn more cals,so do that m.w,f, just do cardio on the other days,and your diet is crap.
 
Your diet needs a lot of work. You've got the right idea with your workout plan, just more fine tuning. I agree that at least 3 days of full body workouts and a couple of cardio could have more benefit for you. Also, seriously consider adding a whey protein supplement into your diet. Even if you aren't looking for quicker recovery time for your muscles (which you should be), whey protein can also help you to lose the weight a little faster. Check out bulkfoodsdirect.com for some good protein. A shake post workout will do wonders.
