So, I live about 1.5 miles from my parent's place. On Friday I wanted to pay them a visit and, instead of driving, I decided to walk. When I got there...I was winded and my mother made some snarky comment like "wow, you're really out of shape, huh?" That kind of got to me but it got me thinking too. She was right...and changes need to be made.
You see, when I was younger (I'm 38 now) I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain an ounce. Now, it's a different story and, to make matters worse, I'm finding it difficult to gather the inner strength to eat right consistently. Does this resonate with anyone? If so, please let me know how you found the will power to start eating right.
