1. What should I be eating to lose weight, I am not concerned with muscle mass more concerned with just dropping the weight?
I have a more optimistic perspective. Keep your current food intake, but increase your exercise level by 1000 calories a day. This should take less than 2 hours a day on the treadmill or elliptical. This way you will lose about 10 pounds of pure fat in a month plus the associated water. 15 pounds are very doable. If you don't have time for 2 hours of exercise, then cut your calories by 500 and exercise for the other 500 (an hour).
Good luck.
hello, just to tag on the thread,if i lose about 700 calories a day on the treadmill and i do it everyday is it possible to lose two pound a week?i do not have the habit of taking breakfast and normally i only take my lunch and dinner,so if i keep my current habit plus the losing 700 calories is my idea okay?(previously no exercise)
I am a black man hovering around 240. I told myself I had a weight loss goal of 225 by my birthday. So far I have been on pace to do this but now its crunch time and I need help
1. What should I be eating to lose weight, I am not concerned with muscle
mass more concerned with just dropping the weight?
2. I have three areas that I want to work on the most...
a. My chest (man boobs)
b. My stomach
c. My thighs
Does anyone know any exercises that I could do for those three major target areas?
3. Is this really healthy. I am a young (21) so I should be able to push myself for this weight lost goal. What do you think?
Apart from the excellent suggestions already posted, I'd say the short and sweet answer would be: Get a personal trainer who will help you maintain focus. Nothing like a professional human hand to achive your goals.
