Im 22 years old and I am relativly skinny. I weigh about 10.5 to 11 stone and I want to to try and build up my upper body so that it is well toned. I do around 50 pushups about twice a week. I stretch first for about 5 mins, do 10 pushups, rest for 2 mins, then do 10 more etc. I try and eat alot of high protein stuff (e.g chicken and fish I dont like beef or lamb) to help my body building aswell as making myself lots of fruit juice drinks from fresh - about 3 oranges, 2 apples, 2 carrots and 2 peices of celery after workout. Unfortunalty though I am lactose intolerant so I cant eat foods that contain dairy produce, which again reflects on my skinnyness. I was woundering if there are any other kinds of exercise I can do to build up my upper muslces and look toned rather than skinny. I was thinking about going swimming to replace one session of pushups a week. Should I be eating other kinds of foods to help build my muscles? If anyone can help me I'd be eternally gratefull! Cheers
