Need to begin building muscle

First of all, I want to be a skilled master when I'm 80 like Master Roshi from Dragon Ball if you know him. Right now, I am master of unskillfulness.
I have never done exercise in my life, I'm almost 20 years old. I started the 100 push-ups program three weeks ago and I'm only in the second week, because I had to repeat week 1...
I don't know how many push-ups I can do in a row now, maybe 10, 15. I'll try to find out this Sunday.
My question is, should I just continue with this program? Or should I add something else too on the side?
And for whenever I finish the 100 push-up program, what can I do next to improve my physique?

Signed, The Big Greenhorn.

Join a martial arts school, they will get you into the shape you want and give you skills.

You can keep doing push-ups and can add pull-ups, body weight sqauts, running

It’s a balance between what you like and what you have available. Research it.

If you have a few schools you need to check them out. Most will let you sit in for a class, if not participate directly. Listen for the talk about the schools if you can, some schools are just looking to make money, but most have people running them that have a passion for it. You want a passionate teacher and students. Great place for new friends with the same interests as you.

Just like regular school you need to do your home work, don’t just go to 3 classes a week and think that is all you have to do. Work and practice on at least 2 more days to keep things in your head and your fitness level up.

Hopefully you will find a school that will give you tons of classes to attend and not just 2 or 3 a week.
