Need some help :(

So...

I lost 10 lbs (yay) but then gained 6 lbs back (boo). I'm getting very frustrated and impatient. And, worst of all, insecure. I'm tired of panting like a dog when I walk up the stairs to get to my classes AND having my grandma tell me if only I "lost the extra weight" I would have a boyfriend. Seriously, it's getting annoying. I want to start losing and be at a HEALTHY weight! I also really don't want to get diabetes. (Btw I'm 19, 5'0" and 174 lbs currently. Bummer.)

Does anyone have any helpful tips on losing weight, dieting, exercising, and staying motivated? What worked best for you?

if its 'that time of month' then it could be related. Girls gain up to 8lb for a week before and during period.

Also, try reading the sticky threads, there is tons of information thats exactly what you are looking for

Does your grandma pinch your cheeks too? My grandma used to do that and tell me I had little chipmunk cheeks. Then, she'd cut me a huge piece of chocolate pie and force me to eat so much that I'd want to throw up. Gee, no wonder I'm a pudgy man lump.

Umm, anyway...

Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of good info to be found here. Oh, and what's wrong with getting diabetes? It's cool...everybody's doing it!!!
