Need help with clean form.

OK, i need some advise. Lately iv been trying to learn how to power clean with like the REAL technique. Like the pull the weight up up and drop all the way under and front squat it up.

In one of my jurnal entries i said i did 225lb 4 times with this tec. The problem is that every time i did them i almost fell over. Once i drop into the squat i tend to stand up on the balls of my feet instead of the entire foot being on the ground. Thus causing me to fall forward. i mean when i squat my feet are flat its just the quickness of the weight rising and falling and then standing back up that causes this.

Why cant i seem to get my entire foot down or what causes me to use the balls of my feet? If u need vid ill post some tmrw when i do them in my workout

What causes you to not be able to get your feet on the ground properly?

Two words.

Tight hamstrings.

I had exactly the same problem but my fitness coach worked with me on my flexibility and now no problems at all.

If it's just the balance that's causing you to do this; why not try dropping the weight right down and doing a ton of reps so you can focus just on form?

We need a video to be able to assess what is actually going wrong. If you can do regular front squats deep, then I don't think it is a mobility issue. It is probably just technique. Try lowering the weight and practice form. There are a number of things that could cause this, so we really need a vid.

Im trying to get the video off my phone with no success lol. After watching that video i_love_muscle posted i noticed my olympic form is really off. I mean i thought i was doing the drop and front squat right but i am not. Iv been doing it "football" style for so long that i need to just re-learn the olympic form and stop trying to fix my form that i have now.

Your workplace probably subscribes to it then or something. I'd probably have access if I were at my university..
