Need Help my weight is at a stand still.

I have lost almost 11 pounds since January 4th,2008. My start weight was 162-163 my current weight has been fluctuating between 151 to 153 for the last 3 weeks. Why am I not losing weight? I lost those first 11 pounds easily it seems now I just seem to mantain my weight not making any progress I am exercising and eating less just like I did in January when I lost the first 10-11 pounds. Why am I not losing weight any more what can I do to start losing weight again? Thank you all for any input. and comments. Heres some Before and after Pics of my weight loss so far.

Sorry to hear about your plateau - I'm there myself. I lost 17.4 lbs since Jan 7th, and for the past two weeks have just been bouncing up and down like you. In fact, that's the exact reason I joined this forum today...for the extra support and motivation because in the past, this would be the time I'd give up.

I read an article this morning that said to break a plateau you should work out longer, bump up the intensity of your workouts, or try a new exercise altogether to "jump start" your metabolism again. This is what I am going to try. I walk on the treadmill now, and I think I'm going to add short bursts of running.

Maybe you could try the same. Good luck to you! And hang in there! I know EXACTLY how you're feeling right now!
 
Yeah I was at a plateau not too long ago at 214 but I kept at it and now I'm down almost another 7. The thing that hurts me is my diet seems to change on the weekends but now that has stopped. Good luck.
 
What does your diet look like and what kind of exercise do you do??

I Try eat around 1200 to 1400 calories a day. And I dont eat after 8 pm. I recently starting eating a quaker rice cake and a piece of fruit for breakfast or quaker oatmeal and 2 egg whites. Lunch ice burg salad with canned tuna and mayo mixed together or lean chicken lunch meat slices with cheese on wheat bread with lettuce and mayo. Dinner Chicken stir fry or a Skinless and bonless chicken breat with a vegetable. I don't drink soda except an occasonial diet coke like every other day . I mostly drink water and crystal light.

I exercise by doing crunches, sit ups, leg lifts, squats, playing with my kids walking and dancing while listening to music. I also clean and care for my 3 kids who are 3 yrs 2 yrs and 7 motnhs old.
 
I don't have much to say except it would be great if you could use spinach instead of icebug lettuce. Spinach has more nutrients. Oh, and if you could incorporate some weights or bands that would be helpful as well.
