Need help for hernia

Hey guys i am new to the forum so hopefully i have posted this in the right place. I am three months into my fitness/weight loss plan and have lost 15 kilos already and am hoping to lose the same again. Only prob is i was working out and popped a groin hernia :mad: . Now i have to wait till early november to have an op. Right when i wanted to be near my goal. Im too worried to do weights and since i hurt it running on the cross trainer i havent done that either. I have had a search around and noticed that quite a few of you have had hernias. What, if any, exercise could you guys do while you had the hernia. I know its about six weeks recovery from hernia. In this time is there/did you do any sort of exercises. Thanks for your help in advance.

IMO I wouldn't put any more strain on yourself, simply keep your diet in check to avoid muscle loss or fat gain. Hernia's are bad, no need to make it worse! Goodluck, and heal quick!
