Im 18 and starting my first year of college. I have been lifting for many years now and I lifted tons this summer to get ready for college. But now that im here i've dropped weight and im not sure why that has happened. I am still taking the same supplements as i did when I worked out this summer and now I am dropping my weights. Can anyone offer suggestions on why this is happening? I think it might have something to do with the food I eat because its cafeteria food and not the good stuff im used to eating at home. Im 6'0 190 so food has a lot to do with me. Im also working out the same amount if not more(5-6 days a week)Is this a psychological problem or is there some reasonable explanation for this.

change in diet
change in routine
change in stress levels
changes in sleeping habits

also, don't stare at the hotties in the gym. research has shown a loss in usable strength when you horn-meter starts going off. something like 5-10% loss in usable strength when male trainees were shown photos of attractive women.

well i dont think its looking at girls because its just a bunch of guys in there...ha but yes thanks. Anyone else?

No one is really going to say anything different. You're losing weight because you're not eating enough to maintain your current body weight and activity level. You're losing strength because you're losing weight. Everything is tied into diet/recovery.

Hmm, fortunately there are few hot girls at my gym. There was this one girl today that stuck her ass out while on the eliptical machine. I mean seriously, she HAD to have been trying because it was definitely not normal.

ha well as long as your not lookin at a guys ass then i guess its fine

well i would like to thank you guys for the help. Im working on the diet but im not sure if it will be good for a while but ill take what im given.
