this site only takes avatars 80 by 80 or smaller.....i canonlyfind really big ones...where are you all getting your pictures! thanks!
 
Live, theres a place called caedfael's avatars (google it) Most of em are sci-fi/fantasy, but they have a few cartoon, thats where I got Tyler Durden for mine (Fight Club)
 
If you have a picture and would like it made into an avatar I could do it for you, Its very easy to cut up images and resize them
 
photoshop is the best, its how i made my "leet" avatar :p i can do i too like dankles said its pretty easy if you got good software.
 
hey folks my name is joe ,i am working on my skills in photoshop and want to test them so i am googling up avatar help and offering up free ones ..tell me what. you need and send the images you want to use and a decription of how you want it and ill do it for free i can make you name flash or bout anything you need ....
i know ill probly get bombbarded with request so i must limit it to the first 10 people.

I am not harvesting e-mails or anything shady i cant even spell good lol
i just want to try this and later charge for makeing banners for websites this was the easyst way i could think of for getting practice thanks and later

I make my own avatars using paint shop pro 7. My current one is of a desktop background (blood and water) that I made about a month or so ago. I just resized it in my program and uploaded it.
 
go to any AOL Instant Messanger buddy icon sites, they are 50x50. they can easily be used unless the kb are too high. has abunch of different ones.
