Need advice - New father workout schedule

I need advice on my new schedule, but let me give you some background:
I am a new father, my son is 7 months old now. My wife just went back to work, and I work nights. I leave the house at 2am and get home around 1:00pm. I pick him up from the babysitters on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays around 1pm. My wife doesn't get home until about 4:00pm, and i go to bed at 7:00pm (no time to goto the gym on those days). Now that you have some background, here is my workout schedule and tell me if it is enough. Just looking to lose a little weight, relieve stress and stay in shape.
Tues and Thursday - 30min cardio and stomach
Sat. - chest, arms and stomach
Sunday - back, shoulders, legs

The reason I set my schedule like this is because, this is the most realistic schedule I can stay on. I have much more energy on the weekends, so that is why I lift on sat and sunday. During the week, I have less energy and I figured this is a good time to do my cardio.

The more advice you can give me, the better.

I am in a similar position - but I chose to do my workouts during the week before I pick my 16 month old up from daycare. Been running for a few months now and I am just adding in the weights.

It would probably be better if you could separate your weight days a little. I know you aren't working the same muscles, but I can't imagine that you are really ready for another weight day on Sunday after doing one on Saturday. With that said, if you don't have the energy on Tuesday, then Sunday might be better.

For losing weight, don't forget to take a look at your diet. That will probably have a bigger impact on your weight (not necesarily your health) than working out will.

not going back on wat KAL said but you should be fine working out 2 days in a row. it won't affect you especailly since you are gettting the rest all week basically. i think your workout could work but you need to step up your cardio more. you seem to be busy but i am sure you can 20-30 minutes out of your day to power walk alittle. you will have trouble dropping the lbs if your only doing that one day of cardio. maybe even on sat-sun do your cardio that will help too. balance your diet also, and if you get these 2 things in order you should meet your goal..

GOODLUCK
