robert, you've asked this question several times in different form all over this site. i'm afraid the correct answer just isn't the one you're looking for. truth be told, robert, at 13, you do still have residual 'baby fat.' if you're looking at your friends and seeing that they're looking to be in better shape, or at least, skinnier, well remember that some people are naturally skinny; they're called ectomorphs. you sound as if you may be an endomorph, one who naturally holds a little more fat. the way to get into and stay in shape is 'knowledge.' at 13, you're much too young to start a serious weight-training regime, and almost ANY kind of diet -will- harm your natural growth.
so, are you still with me, robert? good; here's what you could do-take up any type of cardio. you can jog, run, do aerobic dance, kickboxing, tennis, swimming, etc. whatever you like to do-do it. but that's not all. you need to start looking at what you eat. lots of green things helps oxidation in your blood, and will help tone you. so eat your spinach and broccoli-those two are so good for you it's almost crazy. also, stop with the fried food and junk food. if you can't stop, simply enjoy them in moderation. water is your new best friend. you can still drink those sodas and stuff, just not as much; there is simply no substitute for water. it's just the best ever. and robert, when you've been doing this for a while, you'll feel results before you see them, and that will help fuel your drive to do more. if this isn't the answer you were looking for, i'm sorry, but it doesn't change much from person to person.
