No doubt some people genetically are more muscular than others, but is it also the case that some people are more prone to be able to build muscle with relative ease? I mentioned in another post that although I have been focussing on shifting fat-weight through cardio, my 60:40 (cardio to weights)routine has still yielded some good results. Overall I have noticed that I build muscle quite easily, although I have never tested this in the long term. Even before I started working out I had comparatively large biceps and pecs compared to other people. No, I'm not saying I'm an adonis, far from it! But even when I was younger compared to other people my age, build, height etc I was always slightly more muscular. Saying that, they were more often than not more fitter than I was! The flipside of that is that although I'm not overweight I tend to gain weight in fat much easier than some people, so I guess there are two sides to every coin (although the two are not necessarily related.) Is anyone else here in the same boat?
