n00b question

Hi!
I have a really newbish question that needs an answer:
How many reps gives what size/strength

So what i mean is: do u get bigger or stronger muscles when doing 6reps with 3 sets and so on.

The best would be if u tell me a bit more what you get from 6-8-10-15 reps

Thanks in Advance!

Usually...

10+ Reps = Usually size and/or Endurance

1-3 Reps = Mainly strength training

You can do reps and sets such as 5x5 which gives you strength whilst using high volume.

I vary all the time, very rare that i go below 4 reps though :) Depends on your goal though.

I am sure your liver is building up endurance with your 10+ reps of alcohol on the weekends. :D The liver responds rather unfavorably to this rep range.

On the other hand 1 to 3 reps, "muscle ups" the liver to be more biologically healthy. Therefore, the liver responds rather well to this rep range.

I know, I know........Chillen go in the dang corner......LOL :)

Best wishes

Chillen

Ripped is a combination of low body fat and good muscle development. If you're really serious about this, you're going to have to learn more about food than anything else. You can't put on any appreciable amount of muscle without higher calorie intake, and it's important to make sure you're eating the right kinds of foods. Getting bigger=eating more. I highly recommend reading the stickies.
