Myth or fact?

i remember someone telling me, gym body building is only about 35 pct of your training muscles in your body, but the rest is all mind.

why i cant tell if its a fact or myth is that sometimes if u get 2 people who dont work out, and are same height/size, one can be a lot stronger then the other... which lead me to thinking... when u work out u flex and use your muscles... what if u always think ur excercising so that ur muscles are more tense then others who are "lazy" and dont want to move...

the reason why i asked this is because i asked my friend who honestly doesnt work out, but he has muscles 0.0... can it be genetics?

no...that person is an idiot its 53% training.

but seriously, that is true, you get stronger by "thinking" about tensing your muscles. you get two people who don't workout and get one to think about flexing his arms a couple times a day and in a few months he will be slightly stronger than the other person. I dont kno what the ratio is.

You cant put numbers on something like thats its stupid.

The way to be strong is to have strong muscels. But you need your mind to unlock there potential. Otherwise your not working out the best you can.

haha. :D

some say its 90% nutrition. around 35% plus 90% is close to 100%. so recovery, sleep, dedication, consistency, etc dont figure in :(

i agree, putting a number is silly. EVERYTHING is important!

EVO - ha, You obvously have not considered the 50-50 x y gene configuration making your calculation WAY out.

I think you'll find its 53.27658666667%

No....
