Day 1 (of diary): Today started off as a really bad day, I went to bed in a really bad mood because I'd forgotten about Easter coming up so fast, so today all the stores are closed, and I've been buying groceries daily, at night I'll decide what I'm going to eat the next day and make sure all the calories add up and generally I'll actually make the food ahead of time and pack it up in little lunch containers, which makes it really convenient to stick to my meal plan. Only since all the stores were closed I didn't get a chance to get any food, so my steadfast plan got its first hit. I went looking through the fridge and I had practically nothing. Also the gym was closed, and I spent the whole week with the premise that Friday was a weight training day, and I was looking forward to that, so finding out everything was closed made me feel pretty upset with the whole holiday thing. I mean, not everyone is Christian anyways, why do we all need to take Christian holidays?
Anyways, I did manage to pull through, I'll have to make up my workout though on Saturday. Another thing that had me in a bad mood was because when I woke up, a blister that I'd gotten on the rowing machine at the gym had become infected, so it was really sore and made me feel aggravated because I really like the rowing machine and don't want to take time off of doing that.
Anyways, enough with the pessimism for now, here's what I actually did:
Breakfast: tuna sandwich: 6 grams fat
37 grams carbs
37 grams protein
Morning snack: chicken breast and a cream cheese and jam sandwich:
7.5 grams fat
36 grams carbs
44 grams protein
Lunch: exact same as morning snack
Afternoon snack: salmon with rice noodles:
5.5 grams fat
48 grams carbs
28 grams protein
Dinner: exact same as afternoon snack
Totals: Carbs = 205 Protein = 181 Fat = 32 Calories = 1832
I didn't get any exercise really though, I walked the dog some, I feel like going for a jog but the sidewalks are really icey. Tomorrow I'll get to the gym though, and the grocery store, no getting groceries on Sunday either.
