It's pretty much the first week of changes to my diet and my new lifestyle. I need to lose at least 100 lbs. I've been trying to lose weight on and off for over a year now, but nothing stuck. However, recently I went to the doctor for abdominal pain and found out my gallbladder is not functioning properly. Because of this, I have been forced to start a low-fat diet or I'll need surgery. Because I attribute my gallbladder issues to my weight, I have decided that this is the first step to changing my lifestyle, as the weight I am currently at is obviously damaging my body.
I'm hoping to reach my goal in 1-2 years (100 lbs) through exercise and eating smaller, healthier portions. So far I have lost three to four lbs, and I intend to lose more. As the weight falls off, I find it is easier to stick to it. The only thing I am worried about is loose skin but I'd much rather have loose skin than to be at an unhealthy weight!
I'm feeling really hopeful that this time could be the time that I reach my goal.
If anyone has any advice or suggestions, please let me know!
