Hi guys! I hope you're all doing well. I've been a silent reader for some time now, finally decided to sign up and start my own weight loss diary. I think reading other people's weight loss experiences can give you a huge motivational boost, I hope mine will do the same.
First of all I'd just like to say that I know a lot of people do not agree with the Lighterlife diet, so far though it is working wonders for me. I know that significant weight loss can be achieved by a healthy diet and exercise but my problem is that I'm very impatient. I have tried and been successful using the above method but have been put off by how slow the process is. This leads to me giving up and putting the weight back on. I hope you guys can respect my choice of choosing this diet and will be somewhat supportive
I'm 21 years old and have been significantly over weight from the age of 9, I was very active in my teen years but food definitely got the better of me. My weight increased and I reached my heaviest weight of 107kg. I'm only 5ft 4inches and was therefore (based on my BMI) morbidly obese.
My goal is to reach 60kg by the start of April (if I work on 1 stone/month).
I started Lighterlife on the 10th of September and have so far lost 10kg (22lbs/1st 8lbs).
I'll do a weekly breakdown of what I've lost so far:
10 Sept - 107kg
17 Sept - 105kg
24 Sept - 103kg
1 Oct - 102kg
8 Oct - 100kg
15 Oct - 99kg
22 Oct - 99kg (I was very very sick so didn't manage to stick to the programme much at all. I didn't gain weight though).
(Today) 29 Oct - 97kg
I'll be back with updates every couple of days to let you how it's going and how much I've lost at my weigh in. So far the programme has been challenging but I'm almost used to it now. I won't lie and say I haven't eaten anything since I started the programme, I have indulged here and there and the weekly loss has definitely reflected that. The times I have lapsed have been when I was out, social gatherings/weddings etc.
I hope documenting my journey will be beneficial to me and to those who choose to read it.
Thank you
