My weight loss journey from 218 - 130LBS.

Hi! I'm Taylor. I'm fairly new on here (just signed up yesterday) and I've decided to keep a diary of my progress.

I've always sort of struggled with maintaining my weight, even when I was in elementary school. When I started middle school is when I really started packing on pounds and since then I've been gaining around 10 - 15LBS of weight each year. I'm 5'6 and I just turned 17 back in February. My goal is to get down to a healthy weight where I feel good about myself. I also want to learn how to maintain my weight so that way I don't end up gaining more weight in the future and develop serious medical problems. I'm already on medicine for my lipids.

I plan to post my meals, exercise routines, and keep track of my calorie intake. I'm trying not to exceed 1,230 calories a day and I also plan to work out for an hour 5 - 6 days a week.

STARTING WEIGHT: 218 LBS (4/19/2013)

GOAL WEIGHT: 130 LBS

WEIGHT TO LOOSE: 80 LBS
 
Hey sweetie :) Welcome to the forum! Posting your meals is a great idea--It's a real eye-opener! I'd think I'd had a good day then write down everything I'd eaten and I'd way exceeded my daily limit. 1200 is the absolute minimum--Always try to stay above that!
Good luck! I'm about 209lbs down from 216 at the moment so will be keeping my eye on you to track your progress!
 
Hi! :') I'm hoping that by posting my meals and progress I'll be more motivated to stick with loosing weight instead of dieting for a couple days and then quitting.

I'm going to try to eat healthier and I hope you exceed your weight loss goals!
