So I finally bought the plan and have officially started my weight loss journey!! I went for my 30 minute walk this morning and have just had my first meal on the plan and so far, so good. The food is surprisingly tasty :) So I've taken my before photos this morning and I currently weigh 75kg. Hoping to get down to 50-55kg which is a healthy weight for my height as my BMI is 30 at the moment which is borderline obese lol. So I'm super excited to see changes in the upcoming weeks!!

WOOHOO!! Day one down. Feeling great already.

Breakfast: tuna salad

Lunch: Protein shake

Snack: 4 pieces of dark chocolate

Dinner: Chicken fingers with sweet chilli soy dip

Exercises
2 x 50 tricep extensions
2 x 60 bicep curls
2 x 40 side raises
4 x 50 sit ups
3 x 10 reverse crunches

Definitely broke out in a sweat and had to push myself to get through these but feeling much better for it :) Bring on day 2!!

Okay so I know fast weight loss is not meant to be healthy but this diet says on average you drop about 1-4 kg per week. Call me crazy but I am a day in to my diet and weighed myself this morning and seriously can not believe my eyes. I weighed myself a good 50+ times and it still reads the same I'm down to 70kg!! I seriously can't believe it like honestly are my scales broken? I was 75kg yesterday before I started. I know I was expecting results but honestly this much? I was hoping to at least lose 1-2kg but WOW a 5kg loss in the first day. I definitely will be losing the weight a hell of a lot faster than I expected. :D So happy right now and will definitely be continuing on with this diet with these amazing results.

Don't count on that initial loss as a linear indicator! A change in diet can trigger a few significant contributors such as loss in water weight, and making a good poop. When you weigh yourself, do it the same time every day (or week, or whatever works best), preferably in the morning after you go potty. That way you're measuring apples-to-apples.

Good luck and keep it up if it works for you!

Yeah I kind of figured its probably a one off with water and what not. Thanks for the advice. I was planning on only weighing myself weekly but don't think I can resist the temptation lol so daily it is. This diet is definitely a change from my usual bakery and takeaways that I used to live on. Hopefully I can keep it up :)

:iagree:

Weighing in the morning after a bathroom break will not only get you the lowest weight but also the most accurate. After eating or drinking or even before a "good poop" as LJ so eloquently put it :) Will not get good results. For me I do it first thing in the morning (though I keep forgetting lately, whoops!) after letting the dog out, feeding her, and using the toilet myself. Also for me I must ensure I haven't showered/washed my hair as the wet hair will skew my results. And wear either no clothing, or light clothing and ideally the same thing each time for consistency and accuracy.

Thanks guys. Have decided to weigh myself each morning so will keep you posted on my progress :) So day 2 is going great so far. Breakfast was a chicken wrap and lunch was a protein shake. Not sure whether to do my exercises before or after my afternoon snack but have decided to do them before to get them out of the way. Looking forward to tea tonight, at least the food is satisfying.

Breakfast: Chicken wrap

Lunch: Protein shake

Snack: Apple

Dinner: 2 sausages and vegetables

Exercises

30 x Walking squats
2 x 40 side raises
100 x air kicks
200 x starjumps

Right better get on with it!!

Well yesterday was my rest day but still did s bit of walking. Mushroom and egg white omelette for breakfast, tuna for lunch and was meant to have lamb and vege for tea but kind of fell off the bandwagon here as i was not home for dinner and only food available was from a fish and chip store. So i was super naughty and got a burger and kumara wedges. Pretty disappointed with myself. But back on track this morning with my protein smoothie for breakfast. Hopefully i dont give in to temptation again any time soon.

Day 6 of the plan and I am back on track with my eating but need to get back in to the exercises. Still no further loss but I am determined to keep sticking at it and hopefully I will get the results that I want.

So 3 weeks in to this diet and I have fallen off the wagon and put weight back on but still at a 3 kg loss from where I was 3 weeks ago. Have decided that I need to be harsher on myself. Nights are the worst I am just feeling super intensely hungry and end up bingeing. So from now on I am going to try and drink water constantly to try and curb my hunger and also push myself to complete all of the exercises outlined on the plan no matter how painful it burns I just gotta push through. I am so sick of being fat you have no idea and I am determined to be in a bikini by the end of December so gotta get my a in to g. I hate myself for my complete lack of self control and self discipline. Obviously need to step up my game so am definitely guna give it my best shot! Fingers crossed I make it through coz I'm sick of looking at my oversized self in the mirror. I just want to feel like a normal human who can actually find jeans and clothes that fit nicely and not be resricted to oversize tops and trackpants that make me look older and huger than I actually am :( Must muster up more willpower to save myself from this sad life.

Its okay to fall as long as you get back up and try again! You just need to remember why you're doing this in the first place. I, for example, want to get in shape so that I'm healthy, and so that in a year or two I can get into the Fire Academy. I took a picture of a firefighter, edited in my face, and stuck the picture to my mirror where I'll have to see it every day. You could try something like that as well. Perhaps find a picture of yourself when you were thinner and healthier, or as you mentioned, you wanted to fit into better clothes... so BUY a pair of clothes that you know you can't fit into now and work towards it.

Don't give up! It will all be worth it in the end :)

How are u going babe? I am new to this forum not sure how to track your progress I want the plan so badly!

Yes the plan is great and I would definitely recommend it if you have will power and self discipline. If you follow the plan you will definitely lose weight and have great results. I have stopped doing this diet as I became sick of the same foods. However I still find the exercise routine very helpful and now just eat a healthy diet that will hopefully put me in good steed for the future and get me to where I want to be. :)

Dannii! We weigh the same & have the same goals, we should totally try too to motivate each other!!!
How is the diet plan? What's involved? I'm so curious, Madison has made a HUGE change!
