My routine, need help please.

hey, i'm new on the forums.. i've been reading and studying nutrition and weight lifting as much as possible the past 2 months, and i've learnt quite a bit.. i've gotten mixed info a few times which left me confused.. this is my first time on a forum so i hope to get detailed info based on my routine and such here.. i started excersizing about a month ago and did it for 2 weeks then stopped, but today i've started again and plan to stick to it hardcore this time...

here's what i've done.. i went out and bought fish body oil pills for my Essential fatty acids, i've bought whey protein, which i make shakes out of in a blender with a banana and skim milk or water as a post workout drink, MuscleTech ThermoGain because i could use the help, and mega-man multi-vitamins.. so i'm equipped... i think :confused:

ok, here's what i did today and plan to do..
I woke up at 9am or so, half an hour later, i took thermogain with lots of water, then had breakfast half an hour later, a bowl of oatmeal and 8 egg whites with a multi-vitamin
11:30- took thermo gain, at 12 i worked out, did 30-40 mins of cardio with my heart rate at 130-170 on a manual treadmill, then lifted weights for about 45 mins and then drank a protein shake..
now, 3pm, i just ate a turkey sandwich with the fish body oil, and plan to have a chicken salad with another fish body oil pill later..

i weigh 175p, 6 feet tall, and don't kno my body fat %..

is this ok? i heard of leprovin, anyone recommend it over thermo gain? i have a watch that is a heart rate monitor and after the whole workout it said i burned 1000 calories.. is this ok? i read about HIIT but don't get it too well yet.. any info or help will be greatly appreciated.. thanks..

First of all, welcome to worldfitness.

Couple things to keep in mind. Don't stress yourself out with a lot of details right now. Of course as you go along and learn you'll have to develop, tweak and reassess all the finer points. But, at first try to develop a program you can stick to. Keep it fun and challenging or you won't last longer than a couple weeks. No amount of reading/research will prepare you like sweat, blood, tears and pushing weights.

I guess I don't quite understand your overall goal. A little more detail telling us about what you intend to gain from training would be helpful as well as more detail into your training program. (i.e. training split & exercises for now.)

Last thing for now....watch out for the fish burps. :D

hey.. thanks for the welcome :D... and yea, lol, i heard about the fish burps.. the lady at GNC asked me if i was having problems with it.. is there any other thing i can take that's like fish oils? i heard flaxseed oil was good but fish oil was better for me.. if i start noticing anything "fishy" going on, i'm giving them away.. anyways, here's a couple pics to show you where i'm at right now..



what i want to do is build a bit more muscle, lose the belly and get abs, and get toned, like ripped.. does this help any more? should i put more info?
