Ok so I am new here and I am new to working out. Lets start this off by getting the details out of the way. Im 20 years old and the most work out I get would be moving servers or carrying rugs (I work retail
) I am starting to work out because this summer I would like to be able to take my shirt off and not worry about being the skinniest guy around, although I will probably be the whitest.
I know I am not in shape and that kills me. This is going to be a hard road but in the end being able to be comfortable with my body will be the perfect pay off.
Tonight I did sit ups for half an hour and pushups for 15 minutes. I started at midnight since late at night is the only time I really have time to do this. Im not sure if this is bad for my health considering most people do not do strenuous activity before going to bed.
Here is my theory and it is all based on assumption and zero facts. I figure that if I work out at night I will burn anything I would normally keep while sleeping. Also working out at night allows for me to sleep easier and rest my body.
I would like to work out at least 15-30 minutes a day at night to try and build up my chest and arms. Its not a work out unless it hurts right?
Please give me some advice on my odd work out routine. I would like to know if this activity is going to effect me negatively considering its usually around midnight when I start.
Eating healthier is going to be my next big hurdle.
