Thanks Tru, zephyr and Blancita. I hope you guys are well.
This week has been a bit weird in terms of weight loss. I've been eating more refined carbs than I want and less protein (thanks to stomach aches can't have almonds anymore

). But I've been exercising more than ever, so I can't quite figure it out why the scale hasn't budged in 9 days... Well, maybe I can, but it's bloody frustrating.
Anyway, food for Sun July 5th:
*Brunch: 2 slices whole rye toast, 4 tsp Nuttelex dairy-free spread, 1 tsp sucrose-free blueberry jam;
*Dinner: 3 small pieces spinach pie with fetta cheese, 4 toasts of type in Brunch (

);
*Snack: 2 tsp creamy birthday cake (typical kind, sponge & custard), glass prune juice - must have gone off as tum really complained!
Exercise:
*73 min brisk walk;
*22 upper ab crunches, 11 lower ab exs;
*5 push-ups on knees (pathetic - and elbow kept creaking/cracking... ugh);
*low impact version of C25K Week 1 Day 2 (20 min).
Yesterday's (Monday's) food:
*Brunch: oat cereal mix, 3 small pieces of spinach pie with heaps of fetta cheese (home-made pastry but white flour...

);
*Dinner: 4 fried meatballs, home-made potato chips (and felt great);
*Snack: 8 peanuts in shell, 1/2 glass prune juice, green apple.
Exercise:
*83 min brisk walk (felt I was a lot faster, but found I still only managed to cut off ONLY
3 minutes from my time since first starting over 2 months ago, doh!);
*24 upper ab crunches, 11 lower ab exercises, 5 knee push-ups;
*C25K Week 1 Day 3 (low impact).
And finally today:
Food:
*Breakfast & lunch skipped (naughty block-head!

);
*Dinner: 3 meatballs, boiled wild plants/roots, 4 blueberry Nuttelex toasts, 5 dry biscuits with unsweetened cocoa (3/4 cup) made with full cream milk;
*Snack: green apple.
Exercise:
*26 upper ab crunches, 11 lower ab exs, 7 knee push-ups;
*C25K Week 2 Day 1 (low impact), 7 push-ups on edge of bed.
I could have done a lot better with the diet, as well as spending less time on the computer, although when job-hunting, it's kind of inevitable those hours will clock up quite rapidly... Hoping to get back to work soon.
The C25K was a bit more difficult today, and heart rate went up to 160-175 bpm, compared to the 140 of previous days... I'm not leaving a day in between since the version I'm doing is really low impact. As long as I can get that heart rate up over 130 I'm happy!
I've found reading people's weight loss success stories on this site is really encouraging me, especially where it comes to plateaus and bloating/sugar issues. For me, spinach pie is my downfall; nothing else can make me put on bloating weight so effectively, so I need to stay away from it!!!
But gosh, I'm getting hunger pangs this week... Must stay strong and keep away from that starchy heavenly food!!!
