My new friend!

I just wanted to post regarding my love for my new bike. This is the first higher-end (at least compared to my older bike) bike I have bought. Its rather nimble, and quite the looker. Now, instead of driving my car to the store to grab such essentials as; toothpaste, bread (twelve grain, obviously, *wink) and milk (skiiiiim) I ride my bike. Its quite neat to step back and notice that something that once merely consumed time and seemed to be a unwelcomed errand, now in fact is looked forward to, and while DOES consume MORE time, also provides a measure of excersize, though often times slight. I still can't help but feel every little bit counts.

Yay. This didnt really have a point. I'm just hoping my distast for my jetta stays rather than wanes (spl?). Stupid Oakville.

.b.

I bought a TREK 6500 w/ disc brakes.

Nothing SUPER stellar, but i mean it was $1150 CAD after tax, so that is for sure a step up for me.

I want to get into MTB'ing but I can barley go down a steepish grass hill without pissing myself ;)

LOL i thought you were talking about motorcycles. I'll just write it off has another homer moment lol

nice bike you bought there...
trek is a great option i have the trek 4000 aluminium also with disc brakes and for 2.5 years now it hasn't let me down not once...great choice :)

i'm also a rolerblade and ice skating freak...couldn't live without it... :)

Not really keeping up on it like i use to. If i was looking for a sport bike now i wouldn't dish out 20K CDN for something brand new i'd rather get something for 8 or 9K 4 or 5 years old.

I'm a big guy too i would be looking for and open class bike. Eventhou, them 600's are mighty fast.

actually I was asking which store you go to get food, lol. I'm not much of a bike guy, I learned pretty late actually. Good that you ride more, I see a lot of bike riders downtown and they're in awesome shape. Oakville's definitely a great bike riding place.

Sounds like a cool bike. I'm looking to get one, but my fundage is very, very limited. (golds is taking all my money LOL). I went to the bike shop and I just can't afford one.
